Crazy FK!

I have a crazy friend; K-turtle! An one hour trip home on Tuesday turned out to be an close to 3 hrs adventure!
Karine and I finally managed to meet and go home tgt after like about half a year! It was 4 odd when I met her. The intention was to take the route which I normally do to get home which is to take a bus to lil' india before switching to the mrt. It was pouring and we were getting hungry. After much discussion, we finally decided to eat at lil'' india before heading home. ( We certainly did consider many options, like dhoby ghuat, boonkeng, KOVAN!, etc.) But lil' india was still the ultimate choice due to its "convenience." Thought of eating at the food court there but who knows! It was closed and is currently undergoing renovation. But luck was on our side, karine spotted the banquet at the newly opened shopping mall, The verge. Had yong tau foo!
Did I mentioned how my taste buds have been altered every since I came into njc. Yong tau foo is gradually becoming my everyday meal! But that's not the point here.
After our filling meal, we went into a shop to get a hp cover.(which I now find no use for.) And as we were leaving, we wanted to get some kacang puteh! AND THE CRAZY IMAGINATIONS BEGINS. Crazy turtle and her crazy imaginations! AND HER CRAZY SUGGESTIONS!
Her: "Hey! Let's walk home man!" (JOKINGLY)
walkwalkwalk, turn and look at the street. Boon keng seems to be in sight.
Me: "EH. WANT ANOT?"
AND BEFORE WE KNEW IT, WE WERE TUGGING OUT HEAVY BACKPACKS DOWN THE AROMATIC LANE OF LITTLE INDIA! SRSLY! WE FELT LIKE WE WERE ON A BACKPACK TOUR IN INDIA LA!
And IDK how! But I completely forgot that farrer park was in between boonkeng and lil'india! So what WAS in sight at the start was apparently farrer park!
CHEATED! SCAMMED!
But no regrets! Certainly was an experience I would never forget!
The only thing was that I was suppose to be home and mugging when I was actually strolling down lil' india!

Other than that incident, school is more or less the same.
Ya. That boring thing. Had some scholarship talks on wed and consolidation chem lect today. Which was both a waste of time. Don't let the word consolidation fool you! They merely just went through one of the tutorial. In like 40mins! Skipping through majority of it. Branding it as common sense. And yea, we stayed back for another 90mins for this common sense lecture! Yet again, CHEATED!
