It's the CHINESE NEW YEAR! Haha. Didn't get a chance to blog for the last few days. Was just too tired.
So what did I do for the cny?
It's just like any other year. Except this year, we were later. We were just unable to get out of bed! Haha!
On the first day of chinese new year. Woke up. Had ABALONE porridge and SHARK FIN soup for breakfast. Haha. It's a tradition. Bathed. Dolled up. Bai nian to parents. Collected redpackets. Took family photos and off we went. Went to bai nian to my ahgong(dad's side) before going to bai nian to my ahma(mum's side). Stayed there for like 2 hours? Smelled like incense when I left the house. Cause my ahkim was burning the joystick. *pressnose* Haha. Headed back to my aunt's house. The house was full. Haha! Everyone was already there. &Yeah! Finally! Haha~ Let the gambling begin! Played blackjack. But my luck was terrible this year! Booohoo! I LOST ALOT OF MONAYYYY! Arghhhh. We played till like dinner time. Had dinner. Watch the little nonya thingy. It was super funny la. Esp the horse part. Almost had difficulty breathing! Muahahaha! Played cards for awhile longer before heading to my other cousin house for mahjong lessons! Played till wee hours! Close to 4am. In the end, decided to just crash at my aunts house for the night. 3 person on a single bed! *Mybackkkkk!*
On the second day of chinese new year. Woke up thanks to dad's call. He came and pick us up. Went home. Got like an hour to get ready before setting off again. But as usual. The task was impossible. Left late. Went back to my aunts house to pick them up before going to bai nian again. Houses to houses. Watched the lion dance. Played cards and lost more monayyy! ): Headed back to my aunt's house to play mahjong. While waiting for my cousin's friends to come, we played bigsmall! Cool! Something new. Cousin's friend came. 2 tables were set up. Beginners and the pros. Of course, it's obvious where I'm sitted. Haha. Lost more monnayy. Sian. But it's still fun! Haha!
Okay. I'm tired of typing le. Was intending to type all the events but my fingers are going on strike. Haha. Shall upload the pictures soon.
Ohya. Got the posting results today. Saw it at like 1230. Haha. Tgt with like 10 over "kpo" smses. Haha. Okay. Not kpo. Concern. Haha. Anw, I was posted to NATIONAL jc. It's my 3rd choice. Hmmm. Had a tinge of dissapointment when I read the text. Was expecting vjc. Grey uniform? But ohwell. Gotten over it in like 5 mins. I've worn a tablecloth for like 4 years? How bad can this be uh? Haha! But the worse thing that is on my mind right now is school on monday. TO BE FRANK! I'm seriously scared! Arghhhh! New friends new enviroment! Darn! But the worse thing above all my fears are that I have to wear my cvss uniform to school on monday, I guess! Ohman! It's gonna be deadly embarassing! BOOOHOOOO! I can visualise the scene. Everyone staring. Those glares... Ahhhh. I'm burningggg...
Okay. Enough of the drama. Am gonna get showered before going to my baby cousin 1year old bday party. (: I'm sure they are gonna play cards again. Prob, I can recoup back some of my loss uh? But I won't get my hopes up though.
