end of the O's
I'M FREE AT LAST!free to play! without any guilt for not study for the Os!
stupid retarded exam! i actually slogged for 4 years because of it!
away it shall go now! haha!
i've got so many things i want to do! i dont even know where to start! gosh!
swimming, pottery, pilates, piano? etc...
I WANT IT ALL!
it have really been awhile since i last blogged... i'm getting rusty! but i wouldnt want my holidays to wither past. i have to record them down. thus far, i've decided to blog daily! ( if its actually possible )
with all that said and done i shall begin with "the preps for the prom"
i only begin to shop for my dress on thursday! haha! i was so afraid that i wont be able to find one to my liking. thankfully, with the help from lovely vanessa and karine. ( emily was susposed to help too but as usual she was late! ) i found one in no time. METRO surprisingly had a range of beautiful dresses. after much fitting and picking i finally found one i liked. it costed $80 but the salesperson, a china lady was "ohsoKIND" and said something about using staff price and selling it to me at $60. needless to say, i jumped at the offer! but the transaction procedure was the freaky part. in normal cases, u would follow the person to the counter where she den pays for the dress right? but... she told us to get any dress into the fitting room and pretend to try it on. underneath that dress, she hid another dress ( this dress was without the security tag )
in the fitting room, she put that dress into karine's bag and took my $60. gosh! we were all stunned! moreover she was speaking in chinese and half the time we didnt get what she was saying! in the end, we were told to just walk out of the shop!
my mom say's that she may have stole the dress from the warehouse and sold it to us*freaky*
that was pretty much it.
emily came and we went to bugis. went around looking for bags and shoes! we pretty much walked the whole bugis & OG! & i was wearing heels! clever emily and vanessa wore shoes! *darned*karine wasnt able to find a bag to her liking hence we took a train down to marina.
met my mum at about 630 back at bugis. ate dinner before she brought me for mani and pedi. and gosh! was the nail art expensive! $9 a nail! but since i did all 10 she gave me a discount of a dollar! this is not inclusive of the base coat itself. was pretty shocked tt my mum allowed it. (:
*my leg didnt hurt as much after pedi-scrub. thank goodness!*
PROM!!
karine and vanessa came to my house at about 1pm? karine did one side of the nails. at about 2 we went to the saloon to have our hairdo. the guy agreed to charge us for only $15 each! haha! total steal! but what i've saved on the hairdo, i've spent on the haircut. geez. went to heartland mall to get my bag and some other stuffs before vanessa's mother drove us back to my hse. thankfully for it too! as it rained! our hairdo could have been history! with the clock ticking, we had limited time to doll up. karine was the worse! she haven have her dress on, her nails are half done and she haven have her makeup on too! rush rush rush! i did mine in about half an hour. proceeded to help karine. ahhhhHHH! wanted to use toothpick to open up her eyes! she kept blinking! which made it really difficult for me to put on the mascara! time is up and vanessa mummy brought us to school after making a visit to the hairsaloon again. as vanessa's pin came off. rushrushrush! in the midst of all this, i left my camera on the table went i opened the gate!
but it seems that it haven even started when we reached there!
sadly, prom was not very much like what i imagined, we left early to catch the james bond movie at cathay which screened at 1020! we only reached at 11! hence till today i still dont really get what the movie is about! hiax! show ended at about 1230? reached home showered brush my teeth and went to bed. it was already 2! getting ample rest after the O's?? right!
